April showers bring May flowers

This past month it has been raining what seem like every other day. Normally I would find this very annoying... Until I realized that you can still look chic, even if it's pouring cats and dogs. I am in love with rain boots and coats. These are what are on my wish list right now.

My life saver when it comes to walking to classes in the rain are rain boots. I normally find my boots at Target.  

This is the cutest raincoat! I found it on Shop Style.  It's perfect for when it's rainy, but not to cold. 

I think this is the cutest umbrella, you can find it on Walmart's website. It matches the theme of the raincoat and rain boots... and daisies are my FAVORITE! 


I love it when it rains and I'm able to break out my rain gear! What are your favorite things about spring time? 

Hair ideas for the lazy days

Lately I've been having a hard time motivating myself to fix my hair. I'm getting so bored of just doing a pulled back pony though. So I thought I'd hit the magazines and pick out some quick, easy hair ideas. I found these pictures and thought that they'd be the perfect look for spring, going into summer. 

Adding a simple braid to your pony gives a quick, feminine fix to a boring look. 

How cute is that headband? It would be perfect for a day when you have a simple, yet cute outfit on!

Ever have those days when your bangs just won't corporate? Mine have been doing that A LOT lately... Hence the pulling back into a pony. This headband is chic, and pulls them back. 

What's your favorite go to hairstyle for days when you're running late, yet need to look cute? Some days just a simple, cute hairdo can put me in a better mood.

Finally out of the teen years

Today I hit a new marker in my life. I turned 20. I know that I officially turned into an adult when I turned 18... but 20 just sounds so mature. I'm finally out of the awkward teen years and into adulthood. I can't wait to see what these next few years have in store for me. Things like graduating college and getting a job in the real world are just a year away! I'm not going to lie, part of me is a little overwhelmed at these thoughts, but I know I will not be doing it alone. I have amazing family and friends who will be there with me. Thanks everyone who has made my birthday so special already!
